Dreaming of training in Thailand? Our 10-day Muay Thai based itinerary blends temple tours, elephant sanctuaries, and seaside sunsets with world-class training.
3 Days in Chiang Mai
Day 1- We arrived in Chiang Mai to a warm welcome and Thailand inspired gifts, followed by a riverside lunch at Na Nirand. After checking into Raya Heritage, we relaxed with bamboo massages, joined a garden sustainability activity, and ended with a beautiful welcome dinner at the resort.
Day 2- A private visit to the Kanta Elephant Sanctuary was pure magic; feeding, walking, and connecting with elephants in an ethical setting. Lunch at The Ironwood, more spa time, and dinner at Michelin-recognized Saiyut and Doctor Sai Kitchen rounded out the day.
Day 3- Muay Thai & Old Town Training at Buakaw Village set the pace for the day, followed by lunch at Baan Landai Mae Rim. We toured Old Town by trishaw- visited temples, the flower district, and the famous Warorot Market- before dinner at The House by Ginger and a stroll through Tha Phae Walking Street.
3 Days in Pattaya
Day 4- Welcome to Pattaya! After flying through Bangkok, we arrived in Pattaya, checked into MASON resort (where every villa has it's own private pool!), and ended the day with dinner at Zila Street Bistro & Bar and relaxing in-villa foot massages.
Day 5- We started with sunrise yoga on the beach, trained at the legendary Fairtex Training Center, enjoyed Northeastern Thai lunch at Somtum Villa, and indulged in MASON’s signature stone massage. Sunset cocktail making class, a farm-to-table dinner at Krok-A-Cafe Espresso Bar, and bubble baths made for the perfect finish.
Day 6- A floating villa breakfast began the day, followed by exploring the wooden Sanctuary of Truth, the largest wooden castle in the world. After an ocean-view lunch at The Oxygen Beachfront Oasis, we cruised to Sai Kaew Beach and Monkey Island, then closed with beachfront dinner at Glass House Boho.
3.5 Days in Bangkok
Day 7- Welcome to Bangkok! We arrived at the stunning Siam hotel, enjoyed hammam baths and Muay Thai massages at The Siam's award winning Opium Spa, then dressed up for a rooftop dinner before watching fights at Rajadamnern Stadium. The fights were of the highest caliper and the immersive rooftop Muay Thai experience is not to be missed by any Muay Thai fan. I could not get over the fact that The Siam not only has it's own Muay Thai ring in the hotel gym, but also has a special studio for sak yant tattoos. The hotel is full-service and will faciliate whatever you need from training Muay Thai, to getting the traditional Thai tattoo in-house.
Day 8- Morning Muay Thai training in The Siam’s boxing ring, lunch at the Jim Thompson House, shopping in Siam Square, and dinner at BEAT Active. The night ended tuk-tuk’ing through Chinatown, exploring street food and a hidden speakeasy.
Day 9- Ayutthaya Day Trip! We biked the ruins of Ayutthaya, tried our hand at making Roti Sai Mai, and had riverside lunch in the old city at Sampaonava. Back in Bangkok, we left the Siam pier to board a Chao Phraya River dinner cruise, passing illuminated temples at night.
Day 10- One last breakfast, heartfelt goodbyes, and flights home- ending an unforgettable journey.
